Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT) talked about the state of U.S. homeland security. He commended the accomplishments of the Bush and Obama administration’s counterterrorism efforts in the past decade but said current economic concerns should not overshadow continuing dangers. While praising the Obama administration’s development of a strategy to combat domestic terrorists, he also called for more specific actions in the plan. He responded to questions from the audience. close
