Actor Richard Dreyfuss talked about the debates and the importance of compromise in the crafting of the U.S. Constitution at the Philadelphia Convention of 1787. He emphasized the importance of the Constitution for American democracy today. Richard Dreyfuss and The Dreyfuss Initiative promote civics in American schools. He also responded to questions from members of the audience and was seen talking with audience members after the program.
