Representative Tim Murphy (R-PA) talked about the House Energy and Commerce Committee hearing on the Obama administration’s decision to award federal economic stimulus funds to Solyndra, a solar panel manufacturing company that recently filed for bankruptcy. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. Among other topics, Representative Murphy discussed the reasons his committee is investigating and questions that might be asked. Solyndra executives were expected to exercise their Fifth Amendment rights during the hearing.
