Witnesses testified on waste, fraud, and abuse in wartime contracting. They also talked about the work and recommendations of the Commission on Wartime Contracting. In her remarks, Senator Claire McCaskill said that waste and fraud in wartime contracting for Iraq and Afghanistan made her “goddamn mad.” The commission in its final report concluded that as much as $60 billion of waste and fraud from wartime contracts in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. close
