Third Party Presidential Bid

Elliot Ackerman talked about his new group, Americans Elect, that is hoping to secure ballot access in all fifty states for a third party 2012 presidential candidate. The group plans to run a national online nominating convention during the summer of 2012. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.

At the end of the program a video clip was shown of Steve Kerrigan, chief executive officer of the Democratic National Convention Committee, in the Time Warner Cable Arena talking about the progress of the city of Charlotte, North Carolina, in the planning for the convention.
