Author Jim DeFelice talked about his book, the first full-length biography of U.S. Army General Omar Bradley. He argued that the general who planned and led the Normandy Invasion on D-Day, headed the largest body of U.S. soldiers to serve under one field command, was the first chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and advised several presidents, is one of America’s most important and overlooked military figures. He responded to questions from members of the audience in the Performing Arts Room of Marist College Student Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. Mr. DeFelice is an alum of the college. close
