Lord Mayor's Banquet

Prime Minister David Cameron spoke about foreign policy issues at the Lord Mayor’s Banquet, an annual event for the financial and diplomatic corps of London. He talked about the U.K.'s involvement in Libya, and the eurozone crisis. He also talked about trade relations with countries like Brazil and Russia, and his recent visit to Australia for the Commonwealth heads of government meeting. This was Mr. Cameron’s second time speaking before the Lord Mayor’s banquet since becoming prime minister in 2010. This annual event is hosted by the new Lord Mayor of London held in honor of his predecessor. close
