Robert Mann talked about his book Daisy Petals and Mushroom Clouds: LBJ, Barry Goldwater, and the Ad that Changed American Politics. The 1964 ad for the presidential election campaign of Lyndon Johnson featuring a little girl plucking a daisy followed by images of nuclear destruction that became known as “The Daisy Girl Ad” was shown.
