President Obama's Speech to the Business Roundtable
C-SPAN Radio’s Nancy Calo read news headlines at the end of the program.
Former Michigan Governor John Engler talked about President Obama’s address later in the day at the Business Roundtable’s quarterly meeting. He discussed congressional budget gridlock, the corporate tax rate, attendees at the meeting, and the Republican 2012 presidential field. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. In his comments he said that the U.S. needs a national national growth strategy in contrast to letting individual states compete for business.
