Two granddaughters of Dwight D. Eisenhower voiced their opposition this week to the proposed design of a memorial honoring the 34th president of the United States. They appeared before a congressional subcommittee hearing held to consider the views of both supporters and opponents of the design created by architect Frank Gehry and his collaborator, theater artist Robert Wilson. close
