This year marks the 75th Anniversary of the Hindenburg disaster, when on May 6th, 1937 the Zeppelin caught fire while docking at the Lakehurst Naval Air Station in New Jersey. 35 people on the airship were killed as well as one member of the ground crew.
The Hindenburg was the first airship to regularly fly passengers between Europe and the United States.
