The co-chairs of the 2012 Program Committee for the joint meeting of the Organization of American Historians and the National Council on Public History talked about the annual conference “Frontiers of Capitalism and Democracy” at the Presidential Reception, held in the Frontier Airlines Center. They introduced the keynote address, a live broadcast of the radio program “BackStory with the American History Guys.” The episode, “Cheers and Jeers, Alcohol in America” was on the history of beer and spirits. close
