Panelists talked about student unrest in the 1960s. Tom Hayden was the original drafter of "The Port Huron Statement", the founding document of the Students for a Democratic Society in 1962. The panelists responded to questions from members of the audience. Jon Wiener moderated.

“The Port Huron Statement: 50 Years Later” was a panel, held in Newman Recital Hall in the Allan Hancock Foundation Building, from the 2012 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books from the University Park Campus of the University of Southern California. close
