Author Deirdre Moloney discusses her book, National Insecurities: Immigrants and U.S. Deportation Policy Since 1882. She addresses the history of immigration laws - including the 1882 Chinese Exclusion Act - as well as the debates about citizenship and what constitutional protections should be accorded to non-citizens. The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars hosted this 90 minute event. close
