Anna Maria Chavez talked about the Girl Scouts' organization marking its 100th anniversary with a new effort, ToGetHerThere, promoting equal representation of women in leadership positions. She spoke about the need for young girls to be encouraged to pursue math and science education, and to see women role models in politics and business. After her speech, Ms. Chavez answered written questions submitted by members of the audience. close
