Hubert Humphrey III talked about the overall operational objectives of the newly created Office of Older Americans, a branch of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and he responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. The CFPB grew from the passage of the Dodd-Frank 2010 financial regulations law. The Office of Older Americans is tasked to help those over the age of 62 with their financial affairs and to prevent fraud and abusive practices against seniors. close
