Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) talked about the federal budget situation, and afterward panelists discussed her remarks and the prospects for Congress reaching a budget agreement and plan for economic growth. Senator Murray in her remarks said that she and other Democratic leaders are willing to let all of the tax cuts from the George W. Bush administration expire in January 2013 if Republicans do not agree to a deficit reduction deal that includes tax increases.
