Brendan Johnson, the U.S. Attorney for the District of South Dakota and chair of the Attorney General’s Advisory Subcommittee on Native American Issues, talked about drug abuse, particularly synthetic drugs, within tribal communities. During much of the session he responded to questions from Native American youth on issues such as prevalence of sexual assaults among tribal communities, juvenile crimes and prosecution, as well as drug and alcohol issues. close
