Daniel Yergin talked about his book, The Quest: Energy, Security and the Remaking of the Modern World. It is a follow-up to his Pulitzer Prize-winning 1992 book, The Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil Money and Power. He responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.

He was interviewed by Steven Mufson, staff writer for The Washington Post, while at the 12th annual National Book Festival, held on the National Mall.

The program opened and closed with scenes of the festival and scheduling information. close
