Gunnery Sergeant Jessie Jane Duff USMC (Ret.), of Concerned Veterans for America, discussed the voting process for active duty military personnel serving in the U.S. and abroad. She was the spokesperson for Military Voting Rights USA, a national network dedicated to ensure active duty military voters had their votes cast and counted on time. Topics included the difficulty of getting the absentee ballots to military personnel, returning the ballots before the deadline, and ensuring that military personnel were aware that they were still eligible to vote. She argued that the Voter Assistance Office was inept in its procedures and failed in letting military personnel know that they could vote. Viewer questions were taken via telephone and electronic communications, including a separate line for military personnel. close
