Jamie Dimon Remarks on the Global Economy

Jamie Dimon talked about the state of the global economy. He said that bond markets would reject U.S. debt if Congress cannot reach an agreement on a federal budget. He also said JPMorgan did the government a favor by purchasing Bear Stearns, and lost up to $10 billion as a result. Mr. Dimon was interviewed by Mr. Haass and then responded to questions from members of the audience.
