A Patriot's History of the Modern World Larry Schweikart, history professor at the University of Dayton, talked about his book, A Patriot’s History of the Modern World, in which he presented a history of America’s global participation and influence from 1898-1945. He said that during this time the United States introduced numerous political, cultural, and economic ideas to the rest of the world. He spoke at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C. and responded to questions from the audience. close
