Yugoslavian Cabinet Minister-at-Large Radmilla Milentijevic spoke on the current political and social situation in the republics of the former Yugoslavia where nationalism has erupted into military conflict. Issues brought up in her remarks included the political position of the Yugoslavian government and the living conditions for Muslims and Croats in Serbian detention camps in Bosnia. She urged international diplomats to emphasize peace rather than military intervention, and urged that diplomatic efforts concentrate on forcing the two sides in the conflict to negotiate a settlement. close
