Lawrence Verria and George Galdorisi, co-authors of the book The Kissing Sailor: The Mystery Behind the Photo That Ended World War II, talked about their search for the couple in the famous Alfred Eisenstaedt photograph. The people in the image also talked about what brought them to Times Square on Victory Over Japan Day in 1945. The American Veterans Center Annual Conference hosted this event. close
