Former Senator Robert Bennett (R-UT) and former Representatives Dick Gephardt (D-MO) and Phil Sharp (D-IN) discussed what lies ahead for President Obama and Congress as they try to tackle the “fiscal cliff” during the lame-duck session. Mr. Gephardt and Mr. Bennett were skeptical a deal would be accomplished. However, all three agreed that President Obama must nominate someone to replace Treasury Secretary Geithner as quickly as possible.
