House Budget Committee Ranking Member Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) and Chief Deputy Whip Peter Roskam (R-IL) explained their party’s position on the “fiscal cliff,” impending tax increases and budget cuts at the end of 2012 if Congress fails to reach a new budget agreement.
