John Podesta Remarks on Education
This was the keynote luncheon address at the two-day 5th annual Excellence in Action National Summit on Education Reform, held in the JW Marriott Grand Ballroom.
John Podesta talked about bipartisanship in education reform. He said that the recent elections taught the importance of the political process and that passing reform-minded laws would not work without voter support. He advised building a center coalition to support reform movements. After his remarks he was joined by former Governor Jeb Bush (R-FL) in responding to questions from members of the audience.
