Members of the Commission on Political Reform discussed the causes and consequences of extreme polarization of the American political process. The event opened with a video presentation highlighting hyper-partisanship. Topics included bipartisan fixes for hyper-partisanship, voter apathy, campaign costs, and the filibuster. Susan Page moderated this town hall meeting at the Ronald Reagan Library. She read audience tweets, Facebook questions, and the results of live Web polls throughout event.
