Sally Jewell testified on her nomination to become secretary of the interior. She was introduced by Washington Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell. In remarks she pledged a balanced approach to energy and said she supported President Obama’s “all-of-the-above” energy strategy that includes oil, natural gas and renewable sources like solar and wind. Other topics addressed included public land management, Native American issues, environmental conservation, renewable energy, and oil and gas production. close
