Participants spoke about consumer protection and the wide variety of fraudulent schemes used to lure consumers. They provided information on how consumers could protect themselves, and shared what the Consumer Protection Working Group was doing to combat fraud in these areas of lottery and romance scams, unlawful debt relief and collection practices, dietary supplement schemes, and tax season fraud. Panels responded to questions from the audience.
