They talked about the rise of the conservative movement in the 1960s and the effect of television coverage on the Goldwater and Nixon campaigns. Lyn Nofziger, Former Advisor to President Ronald Reagan commented that President Reagan did not really like George H. W. Bush and thought of him as a “wimp.” He said that President Reagan favored Sen. Laxalt (R-NV). close
