Supporters of same-sex marriage held a rally outside the Supreme Court, on the first day it considered two cases on the rights of same-sex couples to marry.

The rally was organized by United for Marriage, a coalition group that includes Family Equality Council, GLAAD and the Human Rights Campaign.
