Panelists talked about the current political system in Haiti and the effectiveness of international aid following the January 12, 2010, earthquake. Jonathan Katz, the only full-time American news correspondent stationed in Haiti when the 2010 earthquake hit, is the author of the book, The Big Truck That Went By: How the World Came to Save Haiti and Left Behind a Disaster. The panelists responded to questions from members of the audience. The program closed with the launch of a new Web site about Haiti.
