Representative Elijah Cummings (D-MD) talked about congressional action on firearms trafficking legislation, and other pending related bills. He began by talking about the gun violence death of his nephew in 2011, saying he mourns the loss everyday and that he would fight for gun safety legislation until he dies. He urged Congress to pass the Gun Trafficking Prevention Act, which he co-authored with a group of bipartisan lawmakers. After his remarks he answered reporters' questions. close
