Abbas Milani, co-director of the Iran Democracy Project at the Hoover Institution, talked about his book, The Shah, a biography of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last shah of Iran who was overthrown in 1979. Professor Milani was a political prisoner in Iran under both the shah and Ayatollah Khomeini.

The interview, part of Book TV’s college series, was recorded at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University on April 24, 2013. close
