At a forum on how unmanned aerial drones are being used in the U.S. for non-military purposes Will Saletan analyzed public opinion on drones and Representative Paul Gosar (R-AZ) noted that drones were already being used in his state to patrol the U.S.-Mexico border and to fight forest fires. Representative Gosar contrasted the potential benefits of drones with the potential concerns regarding privacy and talked about potential legislation.
