He spoke specifically about U.S. involvement in Cuban affairs, and how the stationing of American troops and material in Florida led to the state’s development, and fortune. Henry Flagler was a partner in Standard Oil with Rockefeller and the visionary who helped develop Florida. Flagler College is in St. Augustine, Florida. close
