Alan Krueger spoke about the global economy. He said that if sequestration budget cuts continued past the end of fiscal year 2014, the economy in 2014 would be very similar to economic conditions in 2013, with economic growth around three percent. Other topics included deficit reduction, income inequality, and the health care law.
