Young Americans and Politics
Matthew Segal talked about issues pertinent to young Americans, including student loan rates, youth unemployment, and the National Security Agency (NSA) data collection programs. He talked about how his organization, Our Time, tried to reach the young audience and what his organization was doing to create awareness and encourage political involvement. Topics included the overall opinion of President Obama and politics. He responded to telephone calls and electronic communications, including a special line for those 18 to 30 years old. close
