Allen Guelzo talked about his book, Gettysburg: The Last Invasion, in which he recounts the Battle of Gettysburg, which took place on July 1-3, 1863. In his book, the author examines the lead-up to the conflict, profiles the leaders of the Union and Confederate armies, and recalls the three days of armed conflict that resulted in over 50,000 causalities. Allen Guelzo spoke at the Atlanta History Center. close
