Georgia State Revenue Commissioner MacGinnitie testified from a personal as well as a state perspective about identity theft.
The majority of the questions were about political targeting of conservative groups by the IRS, with Committee Chairman Issa (R-CA) accusing the IRS of stonewalling his investigation and issuing a subpoenaing for more internal documents. Acting Internal Revenue Service Commissioner Daniel Werfel cited the 16,000 pages of documents the IRS had provided as refuting the allegations of stonewalling.
