Telephone lines were open for comments on “Obama Admin. Makes Case for Syria Strike: Convinced?” Excerpts were read from the documents released by the administration the previous day to show that deaths in Syria on August 21, 2013, were caused by the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government.

Jeff Mason, Reuters White House correspondent, was interviewed by telephone about the latest developments about Syria.

Video clips were shown from the previous day of Secretary of State Kerry and President Obama speaking about Syria. A video clip was shown of Senator John McCain (R-AZ) appearing on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” the previous day.

The program concluded with a video clip of U.S. Chamber of Commerce president and chief executive officer Thomas Donohue being interviewed the previous day for “Newsmakers.” close
