Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg talked about some of the past rulings of the Court involving health care, affirmative action, voting rights, and gender equality. She warned about what she called “activist” decisions by her colleagues that overturn laws passed by Congress such as the Voting Rights Act. Justice Ginsburg also commented on her long-standing friendship with Justice Scalia, and her recent officiating duties at a same-sex marriage for a friend. She was interviewed on stage by Jeffrey Rosen. close
