President Obama spoke to the family members of the 184 people killed in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack on the Pentagon. Then Taps was played. This is a portion of the ceremony held at the Pentagon Memorial, at the site where American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the building at 9:37 a.m. ET. It was a private remembrance for the family members of the 184 people killed in the terrorist attack and was not open to the general public.

President Obama was also shown laying a wreath at the beginning of the ceremony. close
