Attorney General Eric Holder, along with other federal officials, announced a $2.2 billion settlement with drug maker Johnson & Johnson over the company’s marketing practices, which included allegations of marketing prescription drugs for uses that were never approved and paying kickbacks to physicians and pharmacies for promoting those drugs. Attorney General Holder also responded to questions on National Security Agency surveillance programs, saying that “simply because we can do certain things, doesn’t necessarily mean that we should do these things.” close
