The Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on the nomination of David Barron for U.S. Circuit Court judge.

David Barron was at the time a Harvard Law School Professor. He worked in the Justice Department as Acting Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Legal Counsel early in President Obama’s first administration. Retired Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens attended the hearing. David Barron clerked for Justice Stevens for the 1995-96 Supreme Court term. close
