More than 300 members of Great Britain’s youth parliament, ages 11 to 18, gathered in the British House of Commons for their annual debate. The students debated five topics that would be considered for their national campaign. In this portion, the students discussed career and work experience. Topics included the availability of quality works and of apprenticeships, curriculum issues, and youth unemployment. Speaker of the House John Bercow presided, with a few remarks by other members of Parliament. close
