Former Vice President Dick Cheney and his longtime cardiologist, Jonathan Reiner, talked about their book, Heart: An American Medical Odyssey, in which they discuss Mr. Cheney’s history with heart disease and the advances in cardiology over the past several decades. Mr. Cheney, who suffered his first of five heart attacks when he was 37, had a heart transplant in 2012. The National Press Club Journalism Institute hosted this event. close
