Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and other Democratic Senate leaders spoke to reporters about the 2014 federal budget agreement crafted by House Budget Committee Chair Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Senate Budget Committee Chair Patty Murray (D-WA). Senator Reid said he supports the two-year federal budget deal, calling it an “extraordinary effort” by the chairs but that “we didn’t get everything we wanted -- neither did they.” He also talked about the working of the Senate, including current Republican protests about confirming executive and judicial nominations.
