Senator Tom Coburn on Wasteful Federal Spending
Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) spoke to reporters about Wastebook 2013, his annual report on “egregious” federal spending. The report highlights 100 examples or nearly $30 billion dollars in federal spending that he sees as “wasteful and low-priority.” He blamed both Democrats and Republicans for excessive spending and said Congress would rather borrow than cut spending. close
